About the role…

 

As a DevOps Engineer, you will have the opportunity to work for an AI-based Unicorn which is recognized as one of the fastest-growing companies on the Inc. 5000 list. You will be responsible for leading a team of talented DevOps professionals to maintain and execute organizational policies and procedures for change management, configuration management, release and deployment management, service monitoring, support and problem management across all major cloud providers - AWS, GCP, Azure and Samsung Cloud.

 

 

What you will do in this role:

Manage all aspects of o9 platform deployment and technical operations

Manage DevOps team, assigning and monitoring work tasks and ensuring quality and efficiency is maintained

Hire and grow DevOps talent

Lead, plan, build, configure, test, and deploy DevOps solutions

Collaborate with internal and external customers to manage o9 platform deployment, maintenance and support needs

Promote DevOps strategies and implementation goals

Develop and deploy best-in-class automation to efficiently manage o9 platform deployments

Analyze and approve code and configuration changes

 

 

What you’ll have...

• Education: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Technology, Industrial Engineering, Engineering Management, or a related field. Master’s Degree preferred
• Management experience: 3+ years of experience building and leading high-performing diverse teams as DevOps or Software Development Manager.
• Experience: 5-10 years of experience in a Dev Ops role, performance tuning, conducting application upgrades, patches, supporting continuous integration and deployment tooling
• Experience: 3 years of experience with Dockers or similar, 2 years of experience with Kubernetes or similar;
• Experience: Working experience with anyone monitoring tool/stack (ELK, Prometheus, Datadog, Dynatrace, Newrelic)
• Skills: Proficient with Cloud Operations (AWS, Azure, Google Cloud), Jenkins or similar technologies, Ansible, Terraform, and Administration of databases (MS SQL, Mongo)
• Skill: Strong decision-making, problem-solving skills, critical thinking, and testing skills
• Skill: Ability to deliver independently and to translate requirements into technical solutions with minimal supervision
• Ability and flexibility to work with teams globally, across time zones
• Fluent Korean and English
